Long time no write...
So as I have posted on the Family reunion blog, I'm pregnant! I'm super excited and have been waiting a long time. I'm due July 13th. I'm excited because my sister is pregnant too and visiting from Ohio this month and has invited me to come to her home birth at the end of February. So I finally get to see a birth before my own. If anyone has any advice for me oh how to better assist her while I'm there, I would appreciate it.
I'm still working with the Glencoe Dance team and loving it. We have finished our fall competitions and have moved in to state season. I'm really excited this year to see my vision come to life. Yes, MY vision. I didn't think any of my ideas would be taken seriously for a while. But collaborating ideas with the rest of the coaches, they all agreed and really liked my idea. So I'm having two babies this coming year. I'll post the details of the show in a later post because there is a lot to explain.
My friend Karen has moved out of our down stairs room this weekend. She was here for about 3-4 months with her 2 year old daughter till she could get back on her feet and figure how what she wanted to do from here. It was at times a little stressful having 3 families living here, and now it will hopefully go back to normal.
Let's see what else.....
Our chickens are taking the cold weather very personally. I get maybe one egg a day from the chicken I didn't expect it from. The water keeps freezing over so I hope they get some water between the time I get out there and break it and when it freezes over again. I think I just need to move the heat lamp a little closer to the dish.
I haven't been as crafty lately but I still want to post the things I have made. It's fun because I'm learning from my many mistakes but I think I'm getting better. My latest creation was fun but hard and I messed up a few places but I think it turned out really well for coming out of my head. Usually when I think of something cool to make, and try to make it, doesn't turn out a think like I thought it would. "it was way cuter in my head" but with that, I'm figuring out how to better replicate my ideas into material things the more trial and mostly error.
Timmy, the love of my life, is the sweetest father to be. He is so excited to have a child together and sometime says the most gooey sweet things. We had a rough patch earlier this year that has made him the most loving and compassionate person, and a really great husband. He will wait on me if I ask him to, clean up when I don't have the energy, get me a bowl of cereal at 2 in the morning. I truly do Love him.

Trampoline!
I finally found the trampoline I have been looking for on Craigs list. I'm so excited to jump and star gaze on it. It makes me feel like a little kid again and is such a fun work out. Tag was the first to get on it once we set it up. He's still a little scared to really jump but I'm sure he will get past that soon enough.

I really want to see the birth since this is the only one I have been invited to, Thank you so much Stacy for inviting me to be there for you. Please know how badly I want to be there and how grateful I am that you asked me.

Back home...for a while
From May 19th through the 26th, I was in southern California with Karen and her daughter visiting my sister, the zoo and Disneyland! San Diego Zoo is huge! I didn't see the Pandas only because the line was massive and it was really hot out side and we had a fussy 16 month old. But once we were at Disneyland, She was So so excited to see Mickey Mouse. She knew who it was right away and just ran up and hugged him. We got some really good pictures. It was a bit of a dramatic trip too. Kyra was having a hard time on the plane... long story short, I got to spend the last hour of the trip home in airplane peanut puke. good times.
Then we had our house party! It was so much fun and I'm glad most of you could make it. Most of the food was taken home thankfully and I'm so excited to have my neighbors. They are all so nice.
Then we whisked away with Wallen and Quincy's Family, and Jon and Julie to Hawaii June 2nd through the 13th. It was a blast! We didn't get to stay with Quincy and Wallen much but we got to eat a delicious meal at Wallen's family's house and enjoyed all of their talents. Best dinner and impromptu show ever. We got to go to the Polynesian Cultural Center for the first time for me and it was great. The shows are so entertaining. We got some good video of one of the guys that Wallen worked with and he pointed him out in the middle of the show and we totally got it on film. It was just so beautiful there. We stayed in 2 hotels and one condo which was awesome. Saw my first real cockroach. Gross.
Tim and Jon had a blast renting motorcycles. we all rode the trip to Hana and stopped a lot along the way. So much nicer to do that trip on a bike rather than a car. The next morning the boys took another ride with just them two while Julie and I sat out and soaked up the sun.
It was just over all a good trip with great food and great company and housing. really fun. Sucsess!

Gratitude
Please, my shoulder is a blessing. It doesn't need to be a topic of sorrow. There are times I do wish it was better, but all in good time.

This is a vent
So Today I met with Dr. Switlyk, well his assistant Julie, to talk of more shoulder stuff. My nerve test was flawless meaning my nerves are working just fine and communicating with each other like they are supposed to. There is not explanation as to why my muscule aren't growing to use the motion I can passivly get. The michanics of my replacment limit me to a point but my muscules should still carry me up to that point if they exsisted. Basically it comes down to this, I will be in pain for the rest of my life. The pain will get worse and worse. When I deside I can't bear the pain any longer, I will get the complete shoulder replacement. Which means, They will put a new socket on by drilling into the bone and screwing it in. After 15 years when it will enevitably fail (30% fail in 15 years), I will have to get it taken out, and get a bone graff to fill in the hole, basically putting me back to where I am now with bone on metal joint. And now we have come full painful circle. You can tell I'm exstatic.

HBO to air portions of temple ceremonies
HBO's "Big Love" is set to air segments of the LDS temple ceremony in a replica of an endowment and Celestial room and using replications of temple clothing. This episode is supposed to air Sunday, March 15th and 9/8c. The attached file is the page from the TV Guide that contains the article - as well as a photo.
If you feel compelled to, please file complaints with HBO/Time Warner and with the FCC.
HBO is owned by Time Warner:
Time Warner, Inc.

Suggestions
Here are two things you might want to RESPECTFULLY say in your own words to HBO:
"I believe it is wrong for HBO to publicly air portions of sacred ceremonies of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints without permission from the church and based on information obtained by someone who has left the church and may harbor bad feelings toward the church."
And the big one that will ALWAYS get their attention:
"If you air such an episode, I will cancel my subscription to all HBO channels as well as any of its affiliates. I will also refuse to purchase any other entertainment products associated with HBO in any way. And I will encourage my friends and family to do the same."
To file a complaint with the FCC, go to: http://esupport.fcc.gov/
1. Choose "Broadcast (TV and Radio), Cable, and Satellite Issues." Then click NEXT.
2. Choose "Broadcast programs showing obscene, profane, and/or indecent material." Then click NEXT.
3. Click "Online Form" then fill out the form with your information and your complaint.
Something you may want to say RESPECTFULLY in your own words to the FCC:
Express your shock and dismay at HBO treating the sacred ceremonies of any religion with such mockery and disregard. Also mention the shady practice of hiring excommunicated/enemies of the Church and giving them a public pulpit to intentionally hurt millions of people around the world.
Along with the email I got was a picture attached of the temple clothes they will be wearing for the reenactment. I do not want to post this picture but if you are interested in seeing it I will send it to you.
